
Costing Engineer
Role:
1. Review Supplier quotation and cost analysis before proposing to management.
2. Performed yearly cost down with negotiation with suppliers.
3. Propose Maker layout during evaluation based on QCDD judgement.
4. Performed Audit (QAV1) at supplier premises.
5. Issued ePR.
6. Prepare cost analysis and VAVE for new model development and mass production part.
7. Prepared Agreement for new supplier:
- a. Confidential Agreement
- b. Anti-Corruption Agreement
- c. Purchase Agreement
- d. Quality Agreement
- e. Supplemental Agreement
8. Issued Honda Drawing to supplier for request quotation and propose maker layout.
9. Purchasing Strategy Creation
10. Supplier Management including maker part and supplier strategy for BSH model.
11. Request for the quotation for new model and mass production model and do the cost analysis before dothe proposal to management.
12. Maker Layout proposal including mold maker for plastic injection based on QCDD and propose to management
13. Update quarterly revise cost based on exchange rate fluctuation and material trend.
14. New Model Development Support and control target cost
15. To prepare the value analysis and value engineering for part improvement
16. Collaborate with duty section for the ILP application and excise duty exemption
17. Propose maker layout for new model based on drawing and purchasing policy under consideration on target cost.
18. Propose CR idea such as localization activity, 3C, rebate, and VAVE for NM/MP model.
19. Cost analysis for New Model Parts.
20. Negotiate with suppliers in-order to fix reasonable part cost.
21. To provide data on section issue about the action plan and progress status by daily, weekly, and monthly.
22. To propose the material rate for management approval
23. To propose the exchange rate for management approval
24. Project involvement – NHC & I-Act
25. Create part strategy and synchronize with global direction.
26. Propose countermeasure for material CR with collaboration ASH.
27. To source new suppliers for localization activities
28. Perform quality audit visit (QAV1) for potential new supplier.
29. All documents must prepare following ISO requirement.
30. Any others task that is assigned by superior from time to time.

Skills
- Able to understand mechanical drawing 2D& 3D
- Tooling fabrication for plastic & die casting
- Hand on experience in: plastic injection process, die casting, metal stamping, MIG/TIGwelding, wire hardness
Education
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Other

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
