What You Will Do
- Customer Quality Engineering:

- Analyze product failures and implement corrective actions
- Communicate updates and reports to customers
- Resolve customer quality issues in collaboration with teams
- Prepare 8D reports and ensure corrective actions are completed
- Manual Assembly + ICM Engineering:

- Improve inspection processes to prevent defects
- Ensure quality in manual assembly and ICM production
- Conduct audits to assess product and process quality
- Supplier Quality Engineering:

- Perform supplier audits and follow up on findings
- Address quality issues and drive subcontractor improvements
- Qualify suppliers for manual assembly and ICM components
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline
- Experience as a Quality Engineer
- Ability to perform engineering analyses and drive root cause investigations of processing problems
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and adhering to timelines
- Effective communication skills: proficiency in written, verbal, and group settings
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor less experienced engineers
- Familiarity with statistical tools and SPC
- Basic analytical skills
- Understanding of FMEA and control plans
- Basic auditing skills
What Will Put You Ahead
- Degree in Manufacturing Quality Engineering
- Extensive experience as a Quality Engineer in related fields/areas
- Knowledge of SMT process
- Familiarity with database development, SPC software, and design of experiments.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
