Job Summary
  • Software development – provide solutions for minor or small changes and support larger initiatives.
  • Able to provide Design for small/medium projects based on business requirements.
  • Develops and tests code according to technical / programming specifications and application standards.
  • Develops comprehensive unit testing conditions and conducts comprehensive unit testing with all unit test defects fix.
  • Provides guidance and technical assistance to squad.
  • Assists in project planning/ initiation phase and support users during implementation
  • Coordinate various development activities among multiple stakeholders and across multiple geographical location.
  • Testing support - SIT/CIT/CAT/UAT/OAT/DRH/PT
  • Ensure project and SCB quality processes are followed
  • Deployment, PIV and UVT support
  • Post implementation support
  • Debugs and fixes application errors within stipulated service level agreement (SLA)
Key Responsibilities
  • Application software development / project delivery from project initiation till closure.
  • Projects could be ranging from tiny to large depending on demands.
  • Provides solution and technical assistance to squad.
  • Coordinates in software development activities with multiple stakeholders across multiple geographical locations.
  • Plans and involve in all testing activities (UT/ST/SIT/CIT/CAT/UAT/PT/OAT/DRH) where applicable.
  • Ensure project and SCB quality processes are adhered and met.
  • Deployment, PIV/UVT and Post implementation support.
  • Debugs and fixes application errors within stipulated service level agreement (SLA).
  • Provides support to production services and testing teams when need to.
  • Consistently looking for service improvement areas/plans where applicable.

Skills and Experience

  • Banking domain knowledge in lending with 8-12 years of application development experiences
  • Good experience in project delivery, software development & implementation, incident/problem/situation management, request/change management, audit & compliance, information security, application monitoring, capacity/performance management and stakeholder management
  • Strong technical knowledge in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, z/OS, Micro Focus, Java, API and mainframe environment
  • Good knowledge and exposure of Agile, ADO, DevOps, CICD, architecture and design
  • Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting and analytical in problem resolution.
  • Possess self-initiatives driving new initiatives with minimal supervision, team player, fast learner and reliable.
  • Knowledge in change effort estimation / sizing, resource planning, project management and basic infrastructure skills
  • Excellent leadership, prioritization, organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
Bachelor / degree or higher in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or related fields
