  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Sunway Medical Centre Velocity is hiring compassionate Senior Staff Nurse for our Nursery team. Join us in providing quality care to newborns and their families. Full-time position in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

  • Care for sick neonates whose required closed observation care.
  • Recognize the warning signs of abnormality in the neonates and able to perform neonatal resuscitation.
  • Assuming leadership role for others to prepare and assist them with their responsibilites in the unit.
  • Ensure effective coordination with other department for timely delivery of patients' treatment and investigation.
  • Ensuring completion of all competencies and orientation checklist within stipulated time frame.
  • Guide or teach parents or carers regarding baby care.
  • Establish protocols in handling emergency situations.
  • Responsible to be involved in and contribute to all quality improvement activities of the department and the hospital.

What we're looking for

  • A Diploma/Degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification
  • Post Basic certificate in Neonatal Nursing
  • Three (3 years) and above of clinical/nursing experience in related fields.
  • Current registration and valid practising certificate with the Malaysian Nursing Board
  • Supervisory experience is an added advantage
  • Neonates ventilator care
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • A compassionate and patient-centred approach to nursing care
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,400.00 per month
