Head of Business Operation (HBO)

Responsibility:

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute strategies sales plans to meet revenue, growth targets and market share in forklift, Material Handling Equipment, Warehouse Equipment and Hardware Equipment.
  • Coordinating and managing with the units of company and intercompany Heads of Departments as needed to optimize available resources.
  • Coaching in driving subordinates to achieve business plan.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • To set, monitor and track sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team to ensure
  • achievement KPIs and achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, customer segments and business expansion strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to enhance brand awareness and lead generations.
  • Oversee daily operations, lead cross-functional teams (Sales, rental, maintenance service, repairs, Customer Service, after-sales support & warehouse operation) and ensuring seamless integration between product development.

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness and ensure efficient Warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage supply chain, Warehouse, and inventory control to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.

Customer Service & Technical Support

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service and support.
  • Oversee after-sales service, including maintenance, repairs, and warranties.
  • Work with technical teams to address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, train, coach and develop sales and operations teams to achieve company goals.
  • Set clear objectives, performance metrics, incentive and implement training programs.
  • Managing / Coordinating among company units and intercompanies HOD when required to optimise resources available.

Financial & Strategic Planning

  • Develop and manage sales and operational budgets to optimize profitability.
  • Conduct cost analysis and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, operations, and financial performance to senior managements.

Others

  • To exercise discretion on Company's information and safeguard company's interest at all times.
  • Report, highlights any irregularities, problems, weakness, and recommend for improvement and any related issues.
  • Any other duties including from any departments and/or subsidiaries of company that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

Experience & Skills:

  • Min 10 years in sales and operations with min 8 years in key leadership role, overseeing cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a sales team achieving revenue growth in a competitive market and driving operational improvements.
  • Financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, analyze P & L statements, and optimize operational costs.
  • Coaching in driving to achieve Business Plan.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate long-term goals into actionable plans.
  • Experience in creating sales strategies and excellent problem-solving skills.
