• Oversee daily operations of the molding section, ensuring efficient production of molded paper or pulp-based products in line with production targets and quality specifications. • Lead a team of molding machine operators and helpers; assign tasks, monitor performance, manage shift schedules, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and work discipline. • Ensure the proper use and handling of imported bulk paper or pulp materials for molding; verify material availability and usage accuracy during production runs. • Supervise the setup, adjustment, and changeovers of molding machines for different product types and ensure minimal downtime during transitions. • Monitor critical molding parameters (temperature, pressure, moisture, cycle times) to ensure consistent product quality and report any deviations immediately. • Identify and resolve production issues such as poor molding definition, cracks, warping, or incomplete forms; coordinate with maintenance or engineering for machine-related concerns. • Collaborate with the production planning team to meet output schedules, adjust batch sizes, and optimize machine utilization based on demand and raw material availability. • Maintain production logs, defect reports, material usage records, and shift-wise output reports as per SOPs and share with relevant departments. • Enforce safety standards and hygiene protocols in the molding area; ensure machines and work areas are kept clean and free of hazards. • Train machine operators on best practices in molding operations, monitor their skill development, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce rework.
