  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Drafter with a strong background in mechanical and electrical (M&E) drawings to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and have a solid understanding of engineering and construction principles. This role supports the design and project teams by producing accurate and clear technical drawings and documentation for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, revise, and update mechanical and electrical layout drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Interpret and translate engineering sketches, specifications, and designs into technical drawings.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry codes, company standards, and client requirements.
  • Maintain and organize drawing records, revisions, and documentation logs.
  • Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings upon project completion.
  • Coordinate with on-site teams to resolve any drawing or design-related issues.
  • Perform quality checks on drawings before submission or release.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Drafter, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D; 3D knowledge is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems .
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with local and international drawing standards and codes.
  • Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
  • Experience with Revit, BIM, or other CAD software is an added advantage.
  • Experience working on infrastructure or building projects.
