Assistant Operations Manager - Car Park
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Operations Manager for our car park facility. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Operational Management:
· Oversee all aspects of car park operations including staffing, scheduling, and daily procedures.
· Ensure the car park is clean, well-maintained, and meets all safety and regulatory requirements.
· Monitor and manage parking equipment, including payment machines and security systems,ensuring they are in proper working order.
2)Staff Management:
· Recruit, train, and supervise car park staff personnel.
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support.
· Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
3)Customer Service:
· Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
· Implement and monitor customer service standards to ensure a positive experience for all patrons.
· Develop and manage customer feedback systems to gather insights and improve service delivery.
4)Financial Management:
· Oversee daily financial operations including cash handling, revenue collection, and reconciliation.
· Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and cost control measures are in place.
· Analyze financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
5)Safety and Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to parking facilities.
· Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of both staff and customers.
· Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
6)Maintenance and Repairs:
· Coordinate routine maintenance and emergency repairs for parking infrastructure and equipment.
· Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution of issues.
7)Reporting and Documentation:
· Maintain accurate records of operational activities, including staff performance, financial transactions, and maintenance activities.
· Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, financial status, and customer satisfaction to senior management.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Facility Management, or a related field (preferred).
· Minimum of [2-5] years of experience in operations management, preferably within the parking industry or a related field.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
· Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
· Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to operations management.
