Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately based on doctors’ instructions. Label and package medications correctly with dosage and administration instructions. Provide basic guidance and information to patients on medication usage, storage, and possible side effects. Check stock levels of medicines and medical supplies; update inventory records and notify supervisors of low stock. Receive, store, and arrange incoming medication supplies in compliance with storage guidelines. Ensure the dispensary area is clean, organized, and follows infection control protocols. Monitor expiration dates and remove or report any expired or damaged medications. Assist with documentation of dispensed medications for patient records and claims (panel companies, insurance, etc.). Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and uphold professional standards at all times. Communicate efficiently with the doctor and clinic team to ensure smooth operations and timely service to patients."
