This position will oversee end to end of premium Live channel and Video on Demand content for MYTV Mana Mana OTT's subscription services. From acquiring channel and premium VOD content, establish new partnerships to sustain the platform and content management of the channel and premium content on MYTV OTT platform

Key responsibilities:

  • Acquiring Premium Channel and Video on Demand (VOD) content for MYTV Mana Mana
  • Assist in MYTV Original's content pitching and acquisition
  • Assist in partnership with new and existing broadcaster and content providers for MYTV OTT platform
  • Assist in content planning and implementation cross-functional teams towards clear, coherent projects, achieving target revenue for SVOD services including timeline and deliverables
  • Assist in content acquisition, legal documentation and contract management on carriage/ licensing agreement with channel and content providers
  • Assist in monitoring the channel and content on SVOD platform
  • Assist in weekly or monthly reports and insights to management, channel owner, or content provider as requested

  • Assist in promotional activities or on-ground activations to promote MYTV OTT platform
  • Maintaining good relationship with all Channel owners and content provider under MYTV OTT platform

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications & Media studies, Marketing or related field
  • Proven experience in TV or digital content within the entertainment industry, preferably in the OTT/ streaming sector
  • Ability to thrive under fast paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities
  • Familiarity with OTT platform technologies, content management systems and digital distribution workflows is desirable
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in content for TV media, TV channel management or OTT content management and partnership

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
