Salary: RM 5000 – RM 5300 + monthly sales incentives

Work Schedule: Early Morning Shift (Monday - Friday)

*About the Role*
As our first Account Executive focussed on Asia, you will play a pivotal role in driving new
business growth across the region. You’ll be responsible for prospecting, engaging
mid-market customers, and closing deals to expand Mailchimp’s presence.
This role requires a strategic, consultative salesperson who can navigate complex client
landscapes, understand customer needs, and articulate how Mailchimp’s solutions drive
value. You will work closely with a Business Development Representative to build a pipeline
and convert high-quality leads into long-term customers.
*Responsibilities:*
Acquire and grow mid-market customers across English-speaking Asia.
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including inbound qualification,
discovery, value selling, and negotiations.
Develop and execute a sales strategy to engage high-value prospects in the region.
Dissect and qualify prospects’ business goals to determine how Mailchimp can be a
strategic investment for their growth.
Maintain strong CRM hygiene and disciplined sales processes.
Influence key stakeholders and drive deal success through consultative selling.
Clearly articulate Mailchimp’s value proposition, translating product features into
business impact.
Develop a deep understanding of the martech industry, market trends, and
competitors.
Meet and exceed revenue, productivity, and quality metrics.
Maintain a consistent and effective follow-up strategy to convert leads, drive customer
satisfaction, and expand accounts.
*Qualifications*
5+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS, Martech, or a high-growth tech
environment.
Proven track record of hunting new business, managing a pipeline, and exceeding
quota.
Experience with outbound and cold calling, consultative selling, and product demos.
Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, prospecting strategies, and negotiation
techniques.
Ability to build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to close.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a new
market.
