Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing, Procurement, and Inventory Executive to oversee the company’s sourcing, purchasing, stock management, and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and a solid understanding of inventory control to ensure cost efficiency and smooth operations. Basic knowledge of e-invoicing is required to support compliance with digital invoicing systems and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Purchasing & Procurement

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality, pricing, and terms.
  • Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) and supplier contracts.
  • Maintain and build strong supplier relationships, ensuring timely deliveries and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and digital invoicing requirements.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Implement efficient inventory tracking and management.
  • Perform stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Analyze demand trends and forecast future inventory needs.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting

  • Manage procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability.
  • Reduce procurement risks by diversifying suppliers and securing long-term agreements.

4. E-Invoicing & Compliance with Act 852

  • Ensure all purchase transactions align with e-invoicing requirements and local tax regulations.
  • Work with finance teams to process e-invoices and maintain accurate digital records.
  • Support supplier onboarding for e-invoicing compliance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting e-invoicing discrepancies and system updates.
  • Must have knowledge of Act 852, if not willingness to learn is required.

5. Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and logistics teams to align purchasing with business needs.
  • Support production planning by ensuring the availability of required materials.
  • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams for stock availability and order fulfillment.

6. Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records.
  • Generate reports on purchase history, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
  • Continuously improve procurement and inventory processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Basic knowledge of e-invoicing and digital invoicing compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of Act 852
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
