  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

  • The HSSE officer is responsible for implementing the company's Health, Security, Safety, and Environmental Management System.
  • Responsible as the document controller and administrator to manage and control documents and records related to HSSE.
  • Review and establish improvement on the company's HSSE rules and regulations to ensure that the company's HSSE policies comply with relevant national laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for the company’s Health, Security, Safety & Environmental protection, and fire management;
  • Formulate and implement the annual emergency response and Fire drill plan;
  • Identify the possible HSSE risks in each production process of the company and advise corresponding countermeasures.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, update and maintain Health, Security, Safety & Environmental management system, manuals, procedures in compliance with Government and International standards, and customers’ requirements.
  • Establish, implement, monitor and maintain periodic Health, Security, Safety & Environmental plan, training program and database.
  • Organise training programs for internal employees related to Occupational Safety, Health, Security & Environment.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular Health, Security, Safety & Environmental internal & external audits/inspections, and conduct accident investigation as and when required.
  • Interact with local authorities & customers to ensure compliance with legal & customers’ requirements.
  • To manage the performance of security guards.
  • Ad-hoc task which will assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, Security or related fields.
  • 2 years of relevant working experience in the field of health, safety, security & environmental, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge in OSHA legislation and procedures.
  • Good communication skills and proficient in both English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Mandarin speaking will be added advantages.
  • Analytical & meticulous with good planning & organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently in high degree commitment to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
