The Clinic Assistant supports daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, assisting healthcare providers, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. They serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and register patients upon arrival
- Assist doctors and nurses during examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs (e.g. blood pressure, temperature)
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize instruments
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Handle patient inquiries and provide basic information about services
- Collect payments and manage billing processes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the clinic
- Ensure proper inventory of medical and office supplies
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; healthcare-related certification is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, clinic management software)
- Prior experience in a clinic or healthcare setting is an advantage
