  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About the role As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our civil engineering projects in Sarawak. This is a full-time position that will see you collaborate closely with our experienced project teams to ensure the seamless execution of our infrastructure and construction initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Lead the design, analysis, planning and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, buildings, bridges, and infrastructure. 2. For Infra designer, able to design all facets of civil engineering/infra especially for SUStoM submission purposes, that including but limted to Earthwork, Water Reticulation, Water Reservoirs, Sewerage, STP, Road and Drainage System etc. 3. For Structure designer, able to perform calculations and simulations to evaluate structural integrity and material specifications. 4. Provide technical guidance and oversight during project implementation to ensure engineering best practices are followed. 5. Analyse and review/ approve detailed engineering designs, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. 6. Collaborate with architects, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to align project goals and requirements. 7. Implement quality control measures to meet the engineering standards and project specifications. 8. Prepare and manage comprehensive engineering reports, technical proposals, and other required documentation. 9. Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement of materials. 10. Use CAD software and other engineering software for design and analysis. 11. Participate in site visits, inspections, and client meetings as required. 12. Proactively identify issues and propose practical solutions to avoid delays and cost overruns. 13. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new engineering technologies. REQUIREMENT 1. Sarawakian, preferably. 2. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university 3. Minimum 8 years of experience as a Design Engineer. 4. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, design, construction methods and project management best practices. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 6. Proficient in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, BIM and project management tools 7. Registered with BEM (Compulsory) (PE or PEPC is an added advantage).
