Internship, Process Engineer

Job Summary Lead development of new products and work closely with customers and the internal team on product design and specifications. Develop product sample and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure all processes and specifications are met. Key Responsibilities • Manage new project product development and cycle time including manpower requirements for each process based in customer requirements. • Liaise and communicate with customers on any related issues on new product development. • Lead and actively participate in FA (First Article)/NPI new product Introduction activities and brief to APQP Team on customer product specification and requirements based on required project timelines. • To ensure overall engineering process compliance by ensuring proper record fill up and the use of controlled copy of drawing /WI/TL etc. • Determine new product specifications and work closely with Production and QA departments during the pre-production planning and testing as well as the mass production stage. • Identify potential production problems and rectify all issues and concerns before mass production • Ensure all Bill of Materials (BOM) on new product specifications, processes, cycle times and packing requirements are completed before production commences. • To ensure proper application and maintenance of PRG procedures and quality records (configurations control) comply to ISO/AS requirements. • Involved in the cost down and improvement activities in R & D department. • Carry out engineering process investigation, improvement and development by request. • Provide technical training for employee whenever required.
