HALAL OFFICER

Key Responsibilities: • Halal Compliance: Ensuring all aspects of the company's operations, including food production, manufacturing, and services, adhere to Halal guidelines. • Halal Certification: Overseeing the application, renewal, and maintenance of Halal certifications for products and the company. • Production Monitoring: Monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to Halal standards, identifying critical points, and implementing necessary controls. • Training: Providing Halal training to employees, ensuring they understand and can apply Halal procedures. • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of Halal compliance, including ingredient verifications, audit results, and training documentation. • Regulatory Compliance: Keeping abreast of changes in Halal regulations and ensuring the company complies with all requirements. • Audits: Conducting internal audits to verify Halal compliance and identifying areas for improvement and handle external audit of government bodies. • Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as procurement and quality control, to ensure Halal compliance throughout the organization. • Ingredient Verification: Verifying the Halal status of ingredients and materials used in production. • Hygiene and Safety: Ensuring that Halal practices are integrated with hygiene and food safety standards. * Apply certificate and monitoring for MESTI, HACCP, FOSIM, HALAL and ISO * Apply licence for MIDA, MOF, and SME * register trade mark (myipo) * Handle food handler course and thypoid injection * apply health certificate
