Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented US Night Dealer to support our trading desk during US market hours. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in US equity dealing and trading support, coupled with a strong understanding of operational processes, including position reconciliation, custody, and post-trade dealing operations. You will also be expected to assist with trading-related administrative duties and support ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute and support US equity trades during US market hours, in accordance with internal procedures and client instructions.
Monitor trade confirmations, resolve trade breaks or issues, and liaise with counterparties and custodians.
Perform position and custody reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely updates across internal systems.
Ensure accurate booking and input of trade details into internal systems or order management platforms.
Monitor and assist in processing corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, and rights issues related to client holdings.
Prepare and maintain dealing logs and reports for regulatory, audit, or internal tracking purposes.
Assist in trade allocations, settlements, and fund movement coordination.
Support trading-related administrative duties such as documentation, data entry, and trade blotter maintenance.
Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth end-to-end trade lifecycle management.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and assist in ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Prior experience in dealing and/or supporting a trading desk is essential.
Strong understanding of post-trade workflows, including settlements, custody, and reconciliation.
Familiarity with trading platforms, order management systems, and back-office tools.
Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently during night hours and manage multiple responsibilities in a time-sensitive environment.
Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a brokerage, fund management, or trading firm is an advantage.
