PROCESS TECHNICIAN - UHT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Responsibilities to operate and monitor the UHT filling machines to fill the planned milk volumes in accordance with the production plan. 2) Operate the filling machine for all specifications and without comprising sterility in accordance with the production manual to maximize the quality and achievement of agreed productivity, efficiency, down time, yield and waste improvement targets. 3) Ensure packaging code changes are correctly managed and authorised. 4) Ensure the aseptic machines/equipment are in good operational condition and promptly reporting any breakdowns or anomalies to the Team Leader for corrective action. 5) Participate and support the engineering team and plant preventative maintenance process. 6) Contribute and participate directly with the implementation of process improvement initiatives in the Plant. 7) Provide accurate and timely information on productivity, yields, wastage and downtime events to the supervisors. 8) Monitor and record the required data while operating the filling machine to allow trace back of all information if required. 9) Responsible for adhering to GMP, HACCP, safety, and all other regulatory and plant policies and procedures. 10) Update and inform the Team Leader about any new CCPs that may require monitoring. 11) Manage product sampling requirements. 12) Complete regular checks and maintain records on accuracy of product coding and weight control. 13) Ensure efficient cleaning schedules are conducted at the appropriate time intervals. 14) Promote quality achievement and performance improvement in the processing plant. 15) Participate and support the quality audit process and drive necessary action to ensure adherence. 16) Participate and support the health, safety and risk management plans to ensure OSH compliance and minimise the Company’s exposure in all ways. EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Malaysian Education Certificate (SPM) / Malaysian Higher Education Certificate (STPM) / Malaysian Vocational Certificate / Malaysian Skills Certificate/Diploma in Food Science and Technology. • Experience in production of fresh and UHT products, Juice, Milk and cultured milk products is an advantage. • Experienced with automated Process Control. • Willing to work on rotational shift. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Healthy body and able to handle product of 20kg and above. • Stand for 8 / 12 hours shift. • Work 6 days Pushing/Pulling/Bending/Stooping/Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling/Twisting/Turning/Climbing/Balancing/Reaching/Grasping/Manipulation
