We are expanding and looking for a dynamic Business Development & R&D Executive to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow the business while leading the Research & Development department to drive new product innovation.

Job Description:
This position combines business development and food research and development (R&D). The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading R&D initiatives to develop new food products that align with market needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in local and international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and customer demands.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities.

Research & Development:

  • Lead the R&D team in developing new food products from concept to launch.
  • Work closely with the production, quality, and marketing teams to ensure product feasibility and compliance.
  • Improve and innovate existing products based on market feedback and technical advancements.
  • Ensure all R&D activities comply with food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP).

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong PR skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build long-term relationships.
  • Experience leading or working in a food R&D environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative, innovative, and proactive mindset.
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings and market research activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
