The Assistant Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing all project development activities within the approved budget, timeline, and quality standards. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage client relationships and ensure project success.
- Lead the project to oversee all development activities within approved budget, project duration and with high quality standard.
- Ensure project progress is meet within timeline.
- Handle with Client issue and enquiry.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excels, Autocad, Powerpoints , or similar tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project risks, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, engineers, and government authorities.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive project reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project progress, milestones, and outcomes.
- Proven ability to identify project challenges, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Capacity to adapt to changing project requirements and proactively address issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- At least 3 - 4 years’ experience in project management, preferably in the field of environmental engineering, or infrastructure development.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites (local and outstation) as needed and adapt to varying work environments and project conditions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
