JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS AN Executive, Finance Operations

The Executive, Finance Operations is responsible for managing and executing day-to-day financial operations. This role involves ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in various financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, payment processing, and financial record-keeping.

The role plays a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by supporting financial transactions and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Processing and verifying invoices and payments.

  • Managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of payments.

  • Reconciling vendor and customer accounts.

Payment Processing:

  • Handling electronic and manual payment transactions.

  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.

  • Managing bank reconciliations.

Financial Record-Keeping:

  • Maintaining accurate and organized financial records.

  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

  • Performing data entry and record maintenance.

Financial Reporting:

  • Preparing basic financial reports and summaries.

  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Providing support for financial audits.

Compliance and Control:

  • Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.

  • Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or irregularities.

  • Supporting the implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Administrative Support:

  • Assisting with general administrative tasks related to finance.

  • Responding to financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Proven experience in financial operations or a related role

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

  • Skills in Financial data entry and processing, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation and financial record-keeping with accounting software proficiency

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
