Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Assistant to join our Wellness team. The successful candidate will assist in providing high-quality healthcare services, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and supporting the wellness initiatives within the clinic. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of wellness practices, and the ability to maintain a welcoming environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients, schedule appointments, and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure.
  • Administrative Support: Handle patient registration, update medical records, and maintain an organized filing system (both physical and electronic).
  • Assisting Wellness Professionals: Support doctors, nurses, or wellness practitioners during patient consultations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Health Screening: Perform basic wellness assessments such as taking patient vitals (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, weight).
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the clinic’s wellness products and supplies, ensuring stocks are adequate and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Patient Education: Provide general information and guidance to patients on wellness programs, treatments, and services available at the clinic.
  • Clinic Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe clinic environment, ensuring that all equipment is properly sterilized and the clinic is ready for each day's operations.
  • Billing and Payment: Assist with processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing patient accounts.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all clinic operations comply with health regulations and clinic policies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare or wellness-related fields will be an advantage.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or wellness setting is preferred, but not mandatory.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of health and wellness principles.
  • Proficient in office software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks while being patient-focused.
