Position Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with relevant Malaysia’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) laws, regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards (such as fire, electrical, chemical or biological risks) within the outlet and office areas.
- Investigate any accidents, injuries or near-misses that occur on the premises, identify the causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Organize and deliver OSH-related training and awareness programs such as handling hazardous substances and emergency procedures.
- Assist in developing, implementing and reviewing the emergency response plan and ensure all staff are familiar with established emergency procedures.
- Implement environmental safety measures, such as energy saving practices, waste management and water conservation, in compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain and update records of training, incidents, safety audits and inspections as required by the authorities and closely monitor improvement actions.
- Execute administrative tasks on MyKKP Portal, which includes workplace registrations, notification of incidents and other routine submissions.
- Work closely with regulatory agencies and other departments within the company to meet occupational safety and health objectives.
- Provide OSH-related administrative support to safety committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Assist in OSH- related ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
