- Assist chefs in basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients).
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and food prep areas.
- Organize and store food and supplies properly.
- Help with plating dishes and assembling ingredients.
- Clean utensils, equipment, and workstations.
- Dispose of waste and follow food safety standards.
- Receive and store deliveries.
- Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff.
- Minimum education is Secondary School.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not always required.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety.
- Culinary school background is a bonus for commis roles.
- Work in team & willingness to learn.
- Flexible with shifts (weekends, nights, holidays).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up heavy cooking equipment.
- Food Handling Certififcates & Typhoid Injection are required.
