Fertilizer Equipment Design Specialist

Jobscope: o Select the appropriate cutting tools, materials, and machine settings to optimize production efficiency, cost, and quality when machining parts for fertilizer equipment. o Choose appropriate materials for machining parts, considering factors such as strength, durability, corrosion resistance, and compatibility with fertilizer production processes. o Lead the design of fertilizer production equipment, incorporating CNC machining techniques for parts fabrication. o Design equipment and components with CNC machining processes in mind to minimize waste, reduce machining time, and enhance the precision of parts produced. o Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of CNC machines to maintain high production standards and minimize machine downtime. o Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the machining process, such as part defects, machine malfunctions, or supply chain issues related to materials. ________________________________________ Qualifications and Skills o Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design with a focus on CNC machining, manufacturing, or production of industrial equipment. o Experience with CNC programming (e.g., G-code, M-code) for part design and machining optimization. o Hands-on experience in CNC machining operations, for producing precision parts. o Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, including the selection of materials, tooling, and machine setup. o Experience with CNC machine operation and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality part production. o Understanding of industry standards for machining tolerances, surface finishes, and material specifications for fertilizer equipment. o Strong problem-solving skills to identify machining issues and implement practical solutions. o Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality assurance in all stages of CNC machining.
