Responsible for managing matters related to accounts and GL & RL transactions such as invoices, ledgers, delivery orders, debit notes, and monitoring daily transactions.

Support the month-end closing activities.

Collaborate closely with the finance team and other departments.

Prepare complete financial reports including balance sheet, income statement, profit and loss (P&L), cash flow, and other related reports (full set of accounts).

Record and maintain cash inflow and outflow (debit and credit), and perform appropriate financial analysis for the company.

Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

Calculate operational and production costs.

Manage accounting files and documentation (P&C filing).

Assist auditors in audit-related matters and prepare necessary documents for audit purposes.

Prepare cheques, cash cheques, and issue official receipts.

Open and update new bank accounts, and liaise with bank officers when necessary.

Prepare corporate tax submissions and respond to tax-related queries.

Perform data entry and manage transactions using the company’s accounting system (e.g. MYOB).

Handle monthly company expenses such as utility bills, internet, EPF, SOCSO, payments to vendors, and others.

Responsible for executing and overseeing systems and operations related to payroll, revenue collection, revenue classification, maintenance of cash books, deposit registers, trust accounts, and preparation of annual financial reports.

Perform other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting.

Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in accounting or related fields.

Experience in auditing, corporate finance, or full set of accounts is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

Proficient in accounting software such as AutoCount and MYOB.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).

Legal & Tax Knowledge

Good knowledge of SST, income tax, and local financial regulations.

Familiar with statutory compliance requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and LHDN.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

Able to communicate effectively in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Capable of working with various parties including auditors, vendors, and internal departments.

Personal Attributes

Detail-oriented, responsible, and high level of integrity.

Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Independent, yet able to work well as part of a team.

Others

Willing to work overtime if necessary (especially during month-end or year-end closing).

Possess a valid driving license and own transport (if required for external tasks).
