- Review of provisional current and deferred tax computation for statutory audit purposes, and tax estimations / revisions (if any) for submission to the IRB or tax authorities.
- Review of tax computations for the submission of income tax returns to the IRB or tax authority strictly in accordance with the relevant submission due dates.
- Key liaison with the IRB and other relevant government departments on tax incentive/grants/ allowance applications, appeals and audits on tax-related matters.
- Participate and lead through in tax advisory assignments including international tax planning, transfer pricing compliance, tax incentives and applications, tax impact on corporate restructuring, cross border transactions, etc.
- Responsible for planning and implement any changes or newly enacted tax legislations and tax rulings.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant taxation experience, preferably in a Professional Service Firm
- Able to speak in Mandarin
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Ability to establish effective communication skills with the Inland Revenue Board, Royal Malaysian Customs Department and other relevant government departments.
- Ability to oversee and manage several simultaneous assignments.
