Security Manager

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to oversee all aspects of resort safety, ensuring a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on the property. Key Responsibilities: -Develop, implement, and manage the resort’s overall security strategy and protocols -Supervise and coordinate a team of security personnel across various shifts -Conduct regular security assessments, safety drills, and audits -Ensure compliance with local laws and resort policies regarding safety and emergency procedures -Monitor security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) and respond to incidents -Manage relationships with local law enforcement and emergency response agencies -Investigate and report security breaches, accidents, and any suspicious activity -Train staff on safety awareness, crisis management, and emergency response -Create and maintain up-to-date security documentation and incident reports -Provide a visible and reassuring presence around the property, especially during peak hours or events Requirements: -Proven experience as a Security Manager or in a similar role (hospitality/resort experience preferred) -Strong knowledge of security systems, emergency response protocols, and risk management -Leadership and team management skills -Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities -Familiarity with health and safety regulations and security certifications -Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure -Physical fitness and availability for shift work, including weekends and holidays -Relevant security or safety certifications are an advantage
