  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB POSITION: LATHE TURNING PRECISION EXPERT LASER AUTOMATION ENGINEERING SDN BHD seeks a LATHE TURNING PRECISION EXPERT to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name • Set up and operate high-precision CNC lathes for complex parts. • Perform multi-operation turning including facing, OD/ID turning, grooving, and threading. • Operate Swiss-type lathes and multi-spindle turning centers. • Write and edit G-code and M-code manually for turning operations. • Work with multi-axis lathes • Program and operate Swiss-type lathes for medical/micro components. • Design and modify soft jaws, hard jaws, and custom collet fixtures. • Manage tool libraries in CAM systems or CNC memory. • Interpret GD&T drawings for part alignment, form, and position tolerances. • Use CMM and probing systems for complex geometry verification. • Develop sub-programs and modular code for reusable part families. • Program custom threading cycles including multi-start and API threads. • Program live tooling and C/Y axis movements on mill-turn centers. • Validate programs through simulation software • Adjust for shrink fit, press fit, and slip fit based on tolerance stack-up. • Perform machining of weldments and castings with variable densities • Represent CNC turning during cross-functional design reviews. • Analyze defective parts and apply corrective action. • Adjust G-code to fix toolpath misalignment or zero shift. • Perform test cuts to re-center part features or verify origin. • Perform in-machine recovery for stuck tools or incomplete cycles. • Reduce cycle time by optimizing feed rates and tool engagement. • Eliminate waste in setups, tool handling, and inspection. • Suggest design-for-turning improvements to engineering. • Support Six Sigma initiatives with machining data. • Mentor apprentices on advanced turning theory and practice. • Represent CNC turning during cross-functional design reviews. • Perform hard turning on heat-treated steels as an alternative to grinding. Required Skills: The required skills for the position LATHE TURNING PRECISION EXPERT are as follow: Min 5 years’ experience in LATHE TURNING PRECISION Candidate must possess relevant education certification. Must have knowledge in GD&T. Proficiency in G-code/M-code programming for CNC lathes Expertise in CAM software Skilled in programming multi-axis lathes Familiarity with different CNC controls
