Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate content calendars for social media (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and vendors to create engaging content.
  • Organize monthly or seasonal campaigns (e.g. Year-End Wedding Promo).
  • Oversee daily posting and ensure content is aligned with brand identity.
  • Analyze content performance and prepare monthly reports (reach, engagement, follower growth).
  • Respond to messages, comments, and inquiries about event bookings.
  • Assist in capturing photos/videos during real events for marketing and documentation.
  • Monitor current trends and propose creative content ideas based on TikTok/IG Reels trends.

Job Summary:

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all social media activities to promote our wedding hall and event services. This includes coordinating content calendars, campaigns, audience engagement, and ensuring our brand shines across digital platforms.

Salary Range:

RM2,500 – RM4,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media or digital marketing.
  • Proficient in using major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Basic knowledge of design/editing tools like Canva, CapCut, InShot, or Adobe is a plus.
  • Passionate about weddings, decor, and event management.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work weekends or evenings during events when required.
  • Strong communication and writing skills in English & Malay.

    Additional Skills (Preferred):

    • Basic graphic design

    • Photography and videography skills

    • Awareness of TikTok trends & storytelling styles for Gen Z / Millennial audiences

    • Knowledge of Malay/Indian wedding culture and aesthetics
