  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB POSITION: PRECISION TOOL & DIE SPECIALIST LASER AUTOMATION ENGINEERING SDN BHD seeks a PRECISION TOOL & DIE SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name • CAD modeling for progressive die systems and Electrode design for EDM machining • 3D mold and insert design for high precision, CAD drafting and detailing for die assemblies • CAM programming for wire EDM and CNC die components • CAD/CAM integration for seamless production • Design of jigs and fixtures for die setting; Wire EDM programming for die component • High-precision surface grinding of tool steel and polishing of die inserts • EDM machining for complex cavities • Wire cut of ultra-precision die parts, CNC turning for round die components • CNC milling for base plates and blocks and Hard milling of tool inserts • Die assembly with micron-level fit • Polishing of cavity and core inserts • Hard milling of tool steels and Heat treatment of die materials • Tool insert replacement and alignment, Lapping of guide posts and bushings • Die shoe and retainer block machining • Sharp edge preparation and deburring and Maintenance of guide pillars and strippers • Die setting and alignment on press machine and Strip layout planning for material efficiency • Die tryout and tuning, Tool sharpening planning • Punch/die clearance optimization, Press tonnage monitoring • Understanding hardness levels post heat-treatment and Copper and graphite electrode material selection • Material behavior under stamping load • Control of thermal distortion in heat-treated parts • Fabricate and assemble metal products utilizing techniques to weld, cut, form, bend and shape metal to meet precise design specifications • Review technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the requirements for metal fabrication projects. • Ability to measure, examines and test to detect defects and ensure conformance to specification, using precision instruments such as caliper or micrometer or profile projector • Specializes in the fabrication process, including cutting, bending, welding and assembling materials. • Cut, bend, and shape metal components using a range of fabrication equipment such as saws, lathes, drill, and grinders. • Assemble and construct metal products, ensuring that the final product is accurate, functional, and meets the required specifications. • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. • Regularly maintain and clean all metal fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery used in the workshop. • Diagnose machine, tooling, and equipment malfunctions, expedite and coordinate repairs or replacement Required Skills: The required skills for the position PRECISION TOOL & DIE SPECIALIST are as follow: Min 5 years’ experience in PRECISION TOOL & DIE and troubleshooting is necessary. Candidate must possess relevant education certification Proficiency in CAD/CAM software Experience with multi-axis CNC machining Experience in using NDT methods. Advanced Tool & Die Design Expertise in programming for CNC machines Wire EDM Programming and Operation Proficiency in using precision measuring tools Ability to conduct SPC and RCA.
