JOB POSITION: MOULDING DESIGN SPECIALIST MEIBAN TECHNOLOGIES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks a MOULDING DESIGN SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name  Develop advanced CNC programs for complex mould components.  Interpret 3D CAD models and technical drawings for programming.  Design complex multi-cavity injection moulds using CAD software  Perform 3+2 and 5-axis programming for intricate mould designs.  Design electrode programs for EDM processes.  Set up high-end CNC milling machines  Integrate 4th and 5th axis rotary tables in machining strategies.  2D detailed drafting of components, BOMs, and assemblies.  Design inserts moulds and modular cavity systems  Optimize roughing and finishing strategies in CAM programming  Design and develop tooling for a wide range of materials and ensuring that the mould is optimized for mass production  Maintain detailed records of mould designs, including CAD drawings, materials, specifications, and testing results  Design moulds with multiple cavities to optimize production rates and reduce cost-per-part  Design moulds that ensure tight tolerances and high precision, especially in industries requiring exact specifications, such as medical or automotive  Automate the CAD design process to reduce time-to-market and ensure consistency in mould design specifications  Implement real-time monitoring using software to detect machining errors  Advise on the selection of the most appropriate materials for the moulding process, considering factors like thermal conductivity, shrinkage, and strength  Evaluate insert wear and update replacement intervals  Perform simulation and verification of CAM programs to prevent collisions  Oversee the first article production to ensure the moulding process is meeting design specifications  Analyze and optimize moulding parameters to reduce cycle times while maintaining part quality  Develop advanced injection moulding techniques such as gas-assisted injection moulding, over-moulding, and co-injection moulding to improve part quality and reduce costs  Implement in-process inspection and testing procedures to ensure the moulding process  Create mould designs that minimize manufacturing costs while maintaining part quality Requirements The required skills for the position MOULDING DESIGN SPECIALIST are: Min 5 years in MOULDING DESIGN Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Adhere to safety and quality policies. Effective problem-solving abilities. Keep maintenance data and report on daily activities. knowledge of G-code & M-code for CNC machines Proficiency In CAD/CAM
