Hostess Duties:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waiting lists efficiently.
  • Provide guests with menus and assist with any inquiries about food, beverages, and services.
  • Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.


Stock Taking Duties:

  • Conduct regular stock checks for food, beverages, and other inventory items.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and report any discrepancies.
  • Assist in ordering supplies and managing inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of stock items.


Administrative Duties:

  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
  • Prepare reports and summaries related to guest feedback, stock levels, and daily operations.
  • Support the management team with scheduling, correspondence, and other ad-hoc tasks.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hostess, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, POS systems).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
