Jobscope : * Develop high-efficiency toolpaths for roughing, semi-finishing, and high-precision finishing operations for mould cores, cavities, inserts, sliders, lifters, and other complex geometries. * Optimize cutting parameters based on material type (tool steel, hardened steel, aluminum, etc.), tool geometry, and machine capability. * Generate multi-axis toolpaths where required, especially for deep pockets, complex undercuts, and electrode machining. * Simulate and verify all toolpaths using software, or the inbuilt simulator to detect overcuts, collisions, or tool breakages. * Implement toolpath optimization techniques to improve machine run time, part accuracy, and tool wear reduction. * Collaborate with the tooling department to evaluate cutting tool performance, and test new tools or coatings. * Collaborate with QA to plan in-process inspection checkpoints, control dimensions, and critical features. * Work at night shift. Qualification * Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming, specifically in mould & die or precision component manufacturing. * Strong knowledge of cutting tool technology, speeds & feeds, material behavior (hardened steel, aluminum, copper, etc.). * Ability to plan end-to-end machining processes, including part setup, fixture design, tool selection, and cutting strategies. * Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring junior programmers and machinists. * Able to work cross-functionally with design, production, QA, and tooling departments to ensure smooth project execution. * Good communication skills in technical drawing interpretation and cross-team coordination. * High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities in toolpath optimization, machining challenges, and cycle time reduction. * Experience in root cause analysis for machining errors, with ability to implement corrective actions.
