POSITION: PRECISION WIRE CUT MACHINE SPECIALIST DELTECH INDUSTRIES (M) SDN. BHD. seeks CNC PRECISION WIRE CUT MACHINE SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s development Set up and operate advanced CNC Wire Cut EDM machine Create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs using CAM software Perform daily, preventive, and corrective maintenance on EDM machines Apply slow-cut/high-finish EDM cycles for optics/molds Generate CNC programs using CAM software Read complex mechanical and CAD drawings Detect discrepancies between CAD models and prints Use CMM machines for high-precision checks Program multi-axis movements when needed. Interpret GD&T symbols and tolerances Identify critical dimensions and key datum points Cross-check prints with part programs Ensure parts meet surface finish requirements Set up and calibrate precision grinding machines, ensuring optimal performance for each specific task. Install and adjust grinding wheels, attachments, and fixtures as required for various operations Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine grinding requirements and specifications. Prepare and secure workpieces, ensuring they are properly aligned and clamped for grinding operations. Perform precision grinding operations, including surface, cylindrical, and centreless grinding, to achieve desired dimensions and finishes Select appropriate grinding wheels and tools based on material properties and desired outcomes. Maintain inspection logs and documentation Perform daily maintenance on EDM machines Prevent wire breakage through parameter optimization Inspect power supply and servo systems Reduce machining time through toolpath optimization Minimize wire consumption without sacrificing quality Implement lean manufacturing practices. Handle high-precision parts with sub-micron tolerances Adjust process for heat-treated and hardened materials Required Skills: Min 5 years’ experience in CNC PRECISION WIRE CUT MACHINE Proficient in G-code/M-code for CNC lathes Expertise in optimizing cutting paths to reduce cycle times while maintaining precision. Interpret GD&T Apply lean and Six Sigma for productivity improvements. Adhere to safety and quality policies. Effective problem-solving abilities. Keep maintenance data and report on daily activities. Candidate must possess relevant education certification
