Payroll & Local Delivery Senior Specialist

Job Summary:

The Payroll & Local Delivery Senior Specialist is responsible for managing payroll processing and local HR administration across multiple entities. The role ensures compliance with local tax laws and statutory requirements and collaborates closely with Country HR to manage any legal or regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee payroll operations and manage third-party payroll vendors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll in compliance with local tax and legal requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between payroll vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Support HR teams (e.g., Reward, Tax) on compensation and benefits updates.
  • Communicate payroll updates and statutory changes to employees.
  • Maintain and test payroll-related Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Conduct annual tax reviews and ensure proper tax reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Support daily team operations and promote a collaborative environment.
  • Guide and coach team members on payroll processes and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Australian payroll and local statutory requirements.
  • Experience in HR Shared Services or multinational organizations is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
