Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the industrial sales team to achieve growth and sales targets by setting objectives, tracking progress, providing training and support, and implementing improvement programs.
  • Drive sales strategy by identifying and capitalizing on upselling and cross-selling opportunities, guiding the team in analyzing customer needs, and recommending solutions to enhance machine efficiency.
  • Oversee market expansion efforts by strengthening existing markets, identifying new opportunities, monitoring competitors, and staying informed on industry trends and new products.
  • Ensure high-quality technical support by coordinating routine maintenance, inspections, and problem-solving efforts with the technical team, while maintaining accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education requirement - Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.

Candidates without a formal mechanical or technical education may also be considered if they have strong relevant industrial sales experience and proven team management capabilities.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial sales, with strengths in customer relationship management, field sales, and market expansion.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team towards achieving set targets.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, negotiation, and communication.
  • Experience in selling bearings and other complementary industrial products is an added advantage.
  • Conversational in Mandarin as the role requires candidates to deal with mandarin speaking customers.
  • Sound technical understanding of industrial products and solutions.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with a results-driven approach.
  • Own vehicle as a mode of transportation.
