Early Childhood Education Teacher - Akasa

Job Overview

Responsible in working with young children, typically ranging from infants to around eight years old, in a structured educational setting. The primary goal is to facilitate the children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development during their formative years.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Curriculum Development – Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that promote all areas of child development.
• Classroom Management – Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning space while managing behavior and fostering social interaction.
• Individualized Instruction – Address the unique needs of each child and provide personalized support.
• Parent Communication – Maintain regular communication with parents about their child's progress and conduct parent-teacher meetings.
• Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues and participate in team meetings and training.
• Assessment & Documentation – Monitor and document each child’s development using various assessment tools.
• Social & Emotional Growth – Support children in developing self-confidence, emotional regulation, and positive relationships.
• Creative Play – Use play-based methods, including art, music, and games, to make learning fun and effective.
• Health & Safety – Ensure a healthy and safe environment by following hygiene and emergency procedures.
• Professional Development – Continuously improve teaching skills through training and staying current with education trends.

Plus: Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Must possess at least Diploma, Professional Certificate in Early Childhood Education/Education/English Language/TESL/Business Studies/Management/Accounting and any other related studies based on the subject to teach
• At least 1 years of Experience in the related field is required
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, and English
• Able to speak Mandarin is to an advantage
• Willing to work in Seri Kembangan
• Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and communication skills
• Strong moral values and discipline

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
