Role Overview
As a Family Doctor at Alpro Clinic, you will provide holistic, continuous, and patient-centered care to individuals and families across all ages. Your role will focus on preventive and pre-emptive care, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and health education, ensuring the best clinical outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities/Clinical Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Provide preventive healthcare services, including screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling.
- Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of primary care.
- Interpret diagnostic tests (laboratory results, imaging reports) and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation in the clinic's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Patient-Centered Care
- Build long-term doctor-patient relationships to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Deliver empathetic, high-touch medical care in line with Alpro Clinic’s mission of hospitality and attentiveness.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated care.
- Collaborate with the telehealth team to enhance digital healthcare services and remote patient management.
- Ensure seamless referrals and coordination with specialists when needed.
Operational & Quality Improvement
- Maintain compliance with medical protocols, clinical governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous medical education (CME) and professional development activities.
- Provide input on clinical workflows and patient experience enhancements.
- Support the clinic’s performance goals in revenue, patient satisfaction, and efficiency.
- Adherence and compliance to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), policies and involve in troubleshooting and enhancement of service delivery mechanism
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
- Fully registered with MMC and holds a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or general practice (fresh graduates with a strong interest in family medicine are encouraged to apply).
- Postgraduate certification (e.g., Family Medicine, Occupational Health, Dermatology) is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Passion for patient-centered care and preventive medicine.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (other languages/dialects are a plus).
- Comfortable with technology-based healthcare solutions (EMR, teleconsultation).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM10,500.00 per month
