Job Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

Maintaining high standard of food safety, food hygiene and sanitation and ensuring compliance with local regulations including Food Act 1983, Food Regulations 1985, Food Hygiene Regulations 2009 and other National Regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology and any related course related with Food safety studies.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food hygiene and safety
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards i.e Food Act 1983 & Food Hygiene Regulations 2009.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
  • Experience conducting food safety audits
  • Knowledge of Food Handler & HACCP principles is advantages

FOOD SAFETY & HYGIENES

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Monitor and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address food safety issues
  • Manage and update documentation & filing related to food safety and local authorities’ requirements.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns regarding food safety
  • Conduct Expiry Date and Quality Checking to all supermarket item including fresh item.
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analysis for food safety incidents

GENERAL AFFAIRS

  • To arrange, coordinate monthly pest control services and attending any ad-hoc pest control issues/complaint.
  • To monitor and ensuring all government and local authorities’ regulations and also landlord SOP are complied.
  • To assist and monitor the renewal of licenses, registration and related agreement for Seibu and tenant wherever applicable.
  • To coordinate with relevant department and management any issues related with Emergency Response Team (ERT).
  • To assist and managing office supplies, equipment and company assets especially for event and promotion purposes.
  • To assist for issuance of Temporary Promoter Pass and recording all the request inside database for Emergency Response Purposes.
  • To assist managing office supplies, equipment and company assets.

PROCUREMENT/ PURCHASING

  • To assist management on the purchasing of Non-trade or selected office supplies as per request/instruction by the management.
  • To assist management on purchasing of Seibu Suisan (Perishable – Fish) non trade item such as packaging, tray, consumable items, chemical items & etc.
  • To liaise with suppliers/vendor for ‘Request for Quotations for management approval
  • To assist superior on the issuance of Purchase order
  • To ensure all purchase order send to suppliers/vendor has delivered as per schedule and as per ordered.
  • To prepare necessary expenses report and documentation prior to the management request.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,750.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
