Job Descriptions

  • Prepare quarterly interim financial statements and ensure timely submission for the Bursa announcement.
  • Prepare quarterly and year-end consolidation of financial reporting.
  • Prepare Board paper, review divisional Board paper, financial result presentation slides for board meeting.
  • Perform balance sheet and profit or loss analytical review quarterly.
  • Prepare analysis on revenue and other key indicators.
  • Prepare and review Group annual budget and business plan.
  • Monitor annual audit to ensure timely completion of audited reports.
  • Compile & review subsidiary’s AFS ensure consistency and align with Group reporting.
  • Prepare consolidation financial statements in system software.
  • Implement amendments and improvements to standardize account coding system.
  • Develop and improve work methods to ensure effective controls.
  • Update financial data in database to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
  • Interact with internal and external auditors, tax agents, bankers, relevant authorities and etc.
  • Handle corporate exercise matters.
  • Prepare and review corporate profile and monitor shareholder listing.
  • Assist in AGM preparation.
  • Provide guidance to account staff in problem solving as and when situation required.
  • Take initiative to identify areas for improvement and participate in continual improve activities.
  • Monitor Shariah compliance threshold quarterly.
  • Review and monitor GHB’s management account.
  • Review construction division tax reconciliation for Group reporting purpose.
  • Computerized consolidation financial statements and relevant notes to financial statements.
  • Perform and review the group transfer pricing documentation compliance with Income Tax Act.
  • Prepare, review and undertake group tax planning to define the efficient group tax structure.
  • Review Group audit exemption.
  • Update accounting standards, MFRS and study the implication.
  • Review on Group deferred tax and tax computation.
  • Prepare business unit business plan.
  • Perform quarterly group impairment assessment.
  • Report and update group borrowing report.
  • Supervising of subordinate towards improving efficiency and achieving job requirements.
  • To ensure compliance of SOPP- General Account Policies (GAP), Companies Act, Income Tax Act and GST Act.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Superior and/or the Management.

Additional Requirements

  • Possess Bachelor of Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years in auditing and at least 2 years professional working experience in accounting field professional working experience in accounting activities.
  • Knowledge, skill and ability through completion of accounting development courses at post-secondary institutions and several years of hands on experience in all accounting activities.
  • Have own transportation and willing to work in Sri Damansara, KL.
