Overview

Will be responsible for developing and implementing integration solutions to connect various software. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and

maintaining integration processes to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. The role will have critical insight on the inbound and outbound employee

data flow, downstream impacts with a view of ensuring data integrity and privacy while enhancing user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of Workday integrations related to HR, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of Workday with other enterprise systems, including data warehouses and security frameworks.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Develop and execute test cases to ensure the functionality and performance of integrations. Identify and resolve integration issues.
  • Develop and maintain integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Orchestrate and Workday APIs.
  • Ensure data security and integrity across all integrations.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates to integration architecture to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Establish documentation standards
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and build dashboards to monitor system performance post-integration and make necessary updates.
  • Compliance: Ensure that integrations comply with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization to improve efficiency and performance.

Experience and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8-12 Year of relevant Experience
  • Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Workday certification in Integration or related modules is preferred.

Technologies and Tools

1. Strong knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST) and related technologies (WSDL, XML, XSLT)

2. Proficiency in creating and managing APIs using RESTful and SOAP web services.

3. PECI for payroll integration

4. Knowledge of SSO setup and authentication

5. Knowledge of API design principles and tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.

6. API Development and Management:

o Proficiency in creating and managing APIs using RESTful and SOAP web services.

o Knowledge of API design principles and tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.

o Desired skills but not mandatory: Workday integration tools (Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect).

7. Middleware Solutions:

o Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or IBM Integration Bus.

o Understanding of how middleware facilitates communication and data exchange between applications.

8. Programming Languages:

o Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript.

9. Data Management:

o Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

o Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

10. Cloud Computing:

o Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

11. Web Services and Microservices:

o Understanding of web services architecture and microservices.

o Ability to develop and integrate web services.

12. Networking and Security:

o Knowledge of networking protocols and security measures.

o Ensuring secure data transmission and compliance with industry standards.

13. Version Control Systems:

o Experience with version control tools like Git.

o Managing code repositories

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM18,000.00 per month
