Job Description:-
- Full Spectrum Accounts Receivable (AR) Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue A/R documents such as downpayment invoices, payment claims, tax invoices, and monthly Statements of Account, based on verified documentation (e.g., customer contracts, purchase orders, sales orders, delivery orders, and payment certificates).
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables by contacting customers through phone, email, or official correspondence.
- Maintain A/R records to ensure Aging is up to date, CN and customer payments are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
- Handle daily cash management tasks, including recording bank deposits, cash receipts, and posting of incoming A/R payments.
- Assist in preparation of tax filings and customs filings.
- Assist in the preparation of A/R financial reports using standard templates, and offer data-driven insights or follow-up actions to management based on analysis.
- Full Spectrum Accounts Payable (AP) Responsibilities:
- Process A/P downpayment and tax invoices after verifying supporting documents such as purchase orders, supplier delivery orders, IQA/IQC reports, and supplier statements of account.
- Monitor cashflow and plan A/P payments to suppliers.
- Maintain accurate A/P records, ensuring aging reports are updated, credit notes and payments are properly applied, and disputed amounts are recorded and resolved.
- Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of cash purchases, posting of outgoing A/P payments, and bank reconciliation.
- Assist in preparation of tax filings and customs filings.
- Assist in preparation of A/P financial reports for management using standard templates, and provide recommendations for follow-up actions based on analysis of data.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirement:-
- Degree/ Diploma in Accounting or ACCA/ LCCI.
- At least 2 years of related work experience for Diploma/ACCA/LCCI holders. Fresh Degree graduates are welcome to apply.
- Computer literate and IT savvy.
- Good Excel spreadsheet skills such as Pivot table, Vlookup, Sumif, data sorting etc.
- Candidate with less experience but possess good academic result and drive to excel are welcome to apply.
- 5-day working week.
- Working Location: Ulu Tiram.
