Job Summary:
The Reservation Executive is responsible for handling all aspects of guest reservations efficiently and professionally. This role plays a key part in maximizing room occupancy and revenue while ensuring an exceptional guest experience from the first point of contact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling of all incoming reservation inquiries (phone, email, online, in-person) promptly and professionally.
- Process individual and group bookings accurately in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Provide guests with accurate information about room types, rates, packages, and resort amenities.
- Upsell room categories and resort services to maximize revenue.
- Coordination with various department eg. Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales departments for smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, special promotions, and seasonal offers from time to time
- Respond to special requests and ensure they are communicated to the relevant departments.
- To handle cancellations, amendments, and no-show charges as per the resort’s policy.
- Preparation of daily reports related to reservations, occupancy, and revenue forecasting.
- Ensure all guest profiles and booking details are accurately updated in the system.
- Resolve any booking-related complaints or issues promptly and courteously.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (1–3 years) in reservations or front office operations, preferably in a hospitality industry
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., IFCA, PMS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Sales-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa; additional languages are a plus.
- Office-based within resort premise
- Open to Malaysian citizen only
