Position: Branch Supervisor (Bakery & Pastry)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and coordinate daily operations in the central kitchen bakery section.
  • Ensure all bakery items are produced according to recipes, quality standards, and production schedules.
  • Monitor mixing, baking, cooling, and packaging processes.
  • Plan and allocate resources (manpower and equipment) efficiently to meet production targets.
  • Track and improve production KPIs such as output per labor hour, yield rates, and waste reduction.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Train, guide, and monitor bakery staff to maintain high performance and adherence to procedures.
  • Schedule and manage shifts, track attendance, and handle basic HR-related matters in the kitchen.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Ensure that all products meet company quality and consistency standards.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams on product issues and improvements.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure ingredient availability.
  • Monitor usage of raw materials to reduce waste and control cost.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, and shift reports.
  • Submit regular reports on productivity, inventory, and any issues to the Central Kitchen Manager

REQUIREMENT:

  • SPM or equivalent qualification and/or experience and/or above
  • Proven experience (1–2 years) in bakery production and food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of bakery processes and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of HACCP and HALAL food safety standards.
  • Familiarity with inventory and production management software is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
