Position: Branch Supervisor (Bakery & Pastry)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and coordinate daily operations in the central kitchen bakery section.
- Ensure all bakery items are produced according to recipes, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Monitor mixing, baking, cooling, and packaging processes.
- Plan and allocate resources (manpower and equipment) efficiently to meet production targets.
- Track and improve production KPIs such as output per labor hour, yield rates, and waste reduction.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Train, guide, and monitor bakery staff to maintain high performance and adherence to procedures.
- Schedule and manage shifts, track attendance, and handle basic HR-related matters in the kitchen.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ensure that all products meet company quality and consistency standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams on product issues and improvements.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure ingredient availability.
- Monitor usage of raw materials to reduce waste and control cost.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, and shift reports.
- Submit regular reports on productivity, inventory, and any issues to the Central Kitchen Manager
REQUIREMENT:
- SPM or equivalent qualification and/or experience and/or above
- Proven experience (1–2 years) in bakery production and food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of bakery processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a team and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of HACCP and HALAL food safety standards.
- Familiarity with inventory and production management software is a plus.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
