Job Summary: A Duty Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and systems within an organization. This role involves overseeing daily engineering activities, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency situations to ensure the efficient functioning of the premises. Key Responsibilities: - Maintenance Oversight: Supervising the maintenance activities of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems throughout the hotel premises. - Emergency Response: Being on-call or available to respond promptly to any emergencies related to the hotel's infrastructure, such as power outages, water leaks, or equipment failures. - Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all engineering activities comply with safety standards and regulations. - Equipment Monitoring: Monitoring the performance of critical equipment and systems, such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), elevators, fire safety systems, and generators, to ensure optimal operation. - Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance. - Guest Interaction: Responding to guest inquiries or concerns related to engineering issues promptly and professionally.
