Job Summary:
This role establishes, leads, and institutionalizes the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across all commercial and operational functions. The Demand & Supply Planning Manager ensures demand consensus, supply alignment, scenario planning, and executive visibility to drive business growth, customer service excellence, and inventory optimization. The role is pivotal in building cross-functional collaboration and decision-making capabilities through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. S&OP Process Design & Governance (25%)
Establish and lead the full-cycle S&OP framework: Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-S&OP, and Executive S&OP
2*. Demand Planning & Forecasting (20%)*
Consolidate forecasts from marketing, sales, promotions & historical trends to generate consensus demand plans.
3*. Supply & Inventory Planning (20%)*
Align production and procurement plans with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, safety stocks and lifecycle changes.
4*. Analytics, Reporting & Meeting Facilitation (20%)*
Own dashboards, pre-read packs, KPIs and decision logs for all S&OP meetings.
5*. Scenario Planning & Trade-offs Evaluation (15%)*
Facilitate options with financial impact for constrained demand or supply situations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Finance; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or business planning roles.
- Proven experience rolling out S&OP processes and facilitating cross-functional decision-making.
- Deep understanding of demand planning, supply constraints, inventory policy, and scenario planning.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management, promotions, and sales channels.
- S&OP process leadership & stakeholder engagement
- Advanced planning and scenario modeling
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and consensus-building skills
- Analytical & decision support capabilities
- Power BI or equivalent tools power user
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills
