Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and student-focused individual to join our Student Central team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for students, delivering efficient and friendly services, addressing student enquiries, and supporting key student-related processes and documentation. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and passionate about enhancing the student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a front-line representative at Student Central, providing accurate information and support related to student matters including registration, academic records, student letters, ID card issuance, and other administrative services.
- Handle general and complex student enquiries through face-to-face interactions, emails, phone calls, and digital platforms.
- Support onboarding activities for new students including orientation, ID distribution, and familiarisation with student systems.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of student activities, events, and engagement programmes across campus.
- Coordinate the issuance of official documents such as confirmation letters, transcripts, and verification letters.
- Maintain and update student records in coordination with the Registry and relevant departments.
- Monitor and ensure smooth daily operations of the student service counter, including queue management and issue resolution.
- Assist with student welfare matters and escalate issues as necessary to the appropriate units.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of student service processes by gathering feedback and suggesting enhancements.
- Provide support for university events and initiatives related to student engagement, orientation, and student success.
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Communication, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in student services, customer service, or administrative support, preferably in a higher education environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a student-first mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems (experience with CAMU or other student portals is an advantage).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Friendly, patient, and professional in handling student concerns.
Preferred Attributes:
- Knowledge of university academic policies and procedures.
- Experience handling student issues with diplomacy and empathy.
- Multilingual ability is an added advantage — proficiency in Mandarin is highly valued.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
