Megi Ketam Bistro is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. This role requires strong leadership and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations Management
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant departments: kitchen, food prep, table service, cashier, and cleaning.
- Ensure smooth daily operations from opening to closing.
- Monitor cleanliness, order, and compliance with health & safety standards.
2. Team Supervision & Training
- Lead, train, and schedule front-line staff (kitchen crew, servers, cashiers).
- Ensure all team members understand and follow SOPs, service guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
3. Quality Control
- Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Conduct regular checks on portioning, cooking standards, and plating.
- Address and resolve any food quality issues promptly.
4. Customer Service Excellence
- Oversee table service to ensure customers receive fast, friendly, and professional service.
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak hours.
5. Sales & Reporting
- Monitor sales trends and daily sales reports.
- Work closely with management to implement upselling strategies and promotions.
- Assist in inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing wastage.
6. SOP Compliance
- Enforce all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments.
- Ensure staff discipline, punctuality, and adherence to uniform standards.
7. Stocking & Inventory
- Responsible for daily food and raw material stocking to ensure sufficient supply for cooking and operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and kitchen team for stock planning and receiving.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in F&B operations or a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of kitchen and front-of-house operations is essential.
- Able to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts.
